It is imperative that the customer and installers understand what is involved in the construction of a log cabin or garden building and the features of the timber they will be installing. Take time to read and study the install manuals and install diagrams that come with the products (inside the pallet wrapping).
10.3 Timber is a natural product and will change with it’s environment. The characteristics of timber means it will expand and contract through the seasons due to the levels or moisture in the atmosphere. It is therefore recommend that you do not to install your cabin in very wet conditions.
10.4 In the event that some of the timber has warped, gentle manipulation may be required during installation. Wetting or the application of weight may be necessary to help assembly.
10.5 During installation, you may be required to make minor adjustments. Once the building has been erected it will then settle under its own weight. It will also continue to move with the change in environment. This movement is completely natural. It is best practice to regularly check your building for movement and if necessary loosen and re-tighten screws around windows, doors etc.[/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”40″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
