Finding the right roof covering for your log cabin garden building is really important. Many garden buildings have shallow pitch roofs and mean that certain sheet materials or bitumen roof shingles won’t be suitable. The best solution by far is a rubber roof. It can be installed as one complete sheet and has a life expectancy for 40 years + meaning that it should be maintenance free. The roof is a black membrane but it is possible to get black or white edge trim. Here’s a few examples of some EPDM roofs we’ve installed. We can supply and install a rubber roof for your new log cabin garden building or if you have an existing building that you need the roof replacing then get in touch and we’ll gladly provide you a quotation to replace it with a new rubber roof solution.
July 2014 - Lyme Bay Cabins
We’ve recently completed a beautiful summerhouse project in Seaton, South East Devon. Our clients moved into the area last year and they left behind with them their log cabin garden retreat, their ‘ut’ as it was known. They have moved into a fantastic property with a mature garden and veg patch and they really wanted to create a special place to relax in the garden. After a site visit, a brew and a chat it was clear that we were able to create their perfect garden room. Delivery was swift and installation was quick thanks to the good weather. We installed an additional decking section for them to relax (with glass in hand) and painted the building in a striking blue called Limestone from Sadolin Superdec. We are over the moon with the end result as to are our clients.
